Garmin Connect Iq Watch Faces

 

Seems like an issue with the latest software update. All of my Connect IQ downloaded watch faces show as 'IQ!' In the watch face selection menu and won't work. If I deinstall them, restart the watch and then reinstall, they will reappear and work for a few hours, but then they are disabled and the 'IQ!' Comes back without warning. I've just created a watch face and added one option to customize it. The thing is that I've seen on the watch faces that came with my F5 that you can customize the watch face right from the watch when you're selecting it using the 'customize' option under 'apply'. This Connect IQ app may require or request payment for usage. Any payments related to this app will be processed using a third-party payment service chosen by the app developer. You have to use garmin connect app to switch between the 5 faces, but you can even mix and match the different hands and tick marks so you can personalize to your heart's desire! You can also customize the data that the small dials show. Connect IQ only has watch faces. 5567595 5 months ago. Every time I go onto the Connect IQ app, and look at what I want to download it only has watch faces as the options. When I search for apps it say no results for watch faces. I've watched videos and It seems like I should be able to download things beside watch faces.

Several of Garmin’s latest watches offer support for apps, music and other smart features. They can also be personalized by downloading and installing custom watch faces, which completely change the way the main display looks.

Like much of Garmin’s downloadable content, the watch faces are created by third-party developers. You can browse, download and rate them via ConnectIQ. More are added to the store regularly, so it’s always good to check back and see what’s new.

You can also download apps, widgets, and other updates via ConnectIQ depending on the device you own. Almost any of Garmin’s wearables can be enhanced by adding new device apps or custom data fields, which allows the watch to track more than it does natively. A Garmin Approach golf-themed watch, for example, can be used to track hiking specific stats, or display a star-chart, merely by installing new content.
